澳大利亚和中国目前正处在各自历史的分水岭。中国正在通过经济改革和寻求能使改革顺利进行的可以接受的综合政策来重构它的经济。澳大利亚在沉重的外债压力之下已喘不过气来,正在通过进行宏观经济改革,消除对国内经济和国际市场信息进行结构调整而在体制上的障碍,使经济得以振兴。我们两国目前面临的问题是我们从过去继承下来的历史遗留问题。澳大利亚外国投资政策与其现时经济问题的关系
Australia and China are currently at the watershed of their respective history. China is restructuring its economy through economic reforms and the search for comprehensive policies that can make the reforms go smoothly. Australia has been overwhelmed by the heavy external debt pressure and is invigorating the economy through reforms in the macroeconomy and elimination of institutional obstacles to structural adjustments to the domestic economy and international market information.
