With the approval of the Ministry of Education and relevant provincial Party committees, the Correspondence College of Renmin University of China set up Zhengzhou Branch in Henan Province and jointly established a specialized correspondence class for archives studies with Henan Bureau of Archives. After six months of preparation and enrollment, the special class has started its ceremony in Zhengzhou on March 2. Leading comrades from the Correspondence College of Renmin University of China and the Provincial Archives Bureau made speeches at the meeting. The relevant responsible comrades of the Provincial Department of Education attended the opening ceremony. The 112 students of this archival science class in Henan Province passed the rigorous examinations and took the merit-based admission from the cadres who have more than three years of professional working experience in the provincial archives system
