一九六三年的夏天。在上海文化俱乐部的一次舞会上,周恩来总理向我们下达了一项任务:将朝鲜话剧《红色宣传员》拍成电影,导演是郑君里,主演是张瑞芳,我是编剧;并责成上海立即组成一个包括编、导、演、摄、音、美的主要创作班子,出发去朝鲜深人生活。 几天以后,我们就到了北京。此时,这个班子又增加了作曲葛炎、摄影冯四知、美工胡登仁、翻译崔景泽。出发去朝鲜之前,我们又受到了周总理的两次接见,深深感受到他对这一任务所寄予的无限关注。
The summer of 1963. Before leaving for North Korea, we were twice interviewed by Premier Zhou and deeply felt his infinite concern about this task.
