这个新世纪之夏无疑将在中国人心中留下永恒的最美妙欢畅的记忆。7·13申奥之夜圆了中国人一个仲夏夜之梦。千百万人载歌载舞,狂欢不巳,喜极而泣,彻夜无眠。我们的奥运情结系得太紧了,系得太久了。早在1908年,《天津青年》发表了一篇题为《竞技体育》的文章,第一次发出中国人对奥运的渴盼:中国何时能自己举办一届奥运会?从1908到2008,圆一个梦竟穿越整整100年的时空隧道,不知是命运的巧合还是历史的必然。中国人今天的狂喜自然是挡都挡不住。回想1993年9月23日,北京第一次申奥以两票之差惜败于悉尼,梦断蒙特卡洛,电视机前尽是惊呆的面孔。同样是不眠之夜,那却是一个伤心
