In May 1999, Ms. Shen Xinyan and Mr. Wang Yuyuan, preschool teachers from the Xicheng District Teaching and Research Center in Beijing, conducted a two-week study tour at their kindergarten at the invitation of the Hong Kong Salvation Army Child Care Service. By listening to Ms. He Shaomei, an expert in early childhood education in Hong Kong, and giving her hands-on experience in education, she gained an insight into the project approach with advanced educational concepts - the “project approach”. They are deeply touched by the environment of free-to-explore activities and the active learning of young children created by teachers in early childhood planning activities. Our editorial board special two teachers with a large class “postbox and postman” series of activities, for example, to introduce their gains, and readers to share.
