随着教育事业的发展,一种新兴的教育机构——广播电视大学应运而生。作为其重要组成部分的图书馆也随之建立起来,并按照自己的规律逐步发展、壮大。据1988年的《图书馆学刊》介绍,有的电大图书馆藏书量已达12万多册,工作人员达14人,馆舍近千平方米,经费7—8万元。但是,这样的图书馆在电大系统中还属凤毛麟角。就电大系统的大多数图书馆而言,它的发展同整个电大教育事业的发展是不同步、不适应的,应当引起电大系统图书馆同行们的重视和研究,及时采取相应的对策。本文就此谈点浅见。
