戏曲随着时代的发展,也在不断的与时俱进,不在只演那些传统的故事,也开始排演一些近代、现代的人和事。这样,戏曲的服装设计也就脱离了传统的设计理念,开始了时装化的进程。现代戏曲服装与传统戏曲服装的共同点:就是,戏曲服装的设计取材都来源于生活,是在时装的基础上加以改善、加以升华。戏曲的服装要与剧中的人物、场景及舞台的灯光和布景要统一、协调。要吸取时装的时代元素及戏曲的要素,两者有机的结合起来。不能照搬生活中的服装形制到舞台上去。
