The authors studied Farneswarth Munsell’s 100-color discriminant test on 62 male-exposed carbon disulfide workers and 40 non-contact subjects to investigate the effects of chronic exposure to carbon disulfide on optic nerve damage. Contact group: The exposure to carbon disulfide 6 to 36 years (average 16 years), aged 30 to 58 years (mean 43 years). The control group 28 to 59 years (mean 43.5 years), two groups of age distribution no significant difference. Currently, workers are exposed to carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide concentrations under normal operating conditions
