Neutropenia is a risk factor for low vancomycin plasma levels, which can lead to failure of treatment and bacterial resistance. This review summarizes the pharmacokinetics of vancomycin, the target trough concentration and the possible mechanism of low vancomycin trough concentration in patients with neutropenia, and provides a reference for the effective and safe use of vancomycin in patients with neutropenia.
