美国哈尼希费格公司(Harnischfeger Corp.)制造的P&H 2250液压挖掘机为单发动机驱动,重338t,配备17.6m~3的重型铲斗,其尺寸跟世界最大的Hitachi(日立)型液压挖掘机相似。哈尼希费格公司宣称,该机的闭环回转系统只用45°即可达到最大转速,约为普通回转系统所需转程的一半,因此其回转周期比同类挖掘机的快30％。另一个特点是具有巨大的机器间,可为维修提供6.7m宽的维修作业空间而不受天气影响。
The P & H 2250 hydraulic excavator manufactured by Harnischfeger Corp., USA, is a single-engine, 338-tonne heavy-duty bucket equipped with a heavy-duty bucket of 17.6m³ and a size comparable to that of the world’s largest Hitachi hydraulic excavator similar. Hannigfig claims that the closed-loop slewing system of this machine achieves a maximum speed of only 45 °, which is about half that of an ordinary slewing system and therefore has a slew cycle of 30% faster than similar excavators. Another feature is the huge machine room, which can provide 6.7m wide maintenance work space for maintenance without being affected by the weather.
