云南中医学院教师苟香涛同志,生前毕业于四川大学中国文学系,对古典文学有深厚修养。一九五八年调派到我院担任语文、医古文教学工作,兼任教研组长,历十余年。当我院开设医古文课程之初,尚无全国统一教材,由香涛同志与医古文组同志合力,自选、自编、自讲,共选编了医古文二十篇。选文包括医论、医传、医序等三个大类。在这一基础之上,香涛同志,更不惜以“三余”之暇,写成《历代名医传选注》二十一篇,另附录与正文有关的
Comrade Gou Xiangtao, a teacher of Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was a graduate of Department of Chinese Literature at Sichuan University before his death and had profound accomplishments in classical literature. In 1958, he was assigned to our hospital as a language and medical classical Chinese teaching assistant and served as teaching and research leader for more than ten years. At the beginning of setting up the ancient Chinese medicine course in our hospital, there was no unified national teaching material. Comrade Xiang Tao and the ancient medical literature group worked together, selected, compiled and put themselves together to compile twenty articles of medical ancient essay. Selected articles include medical theory, medical biography, medical sequence and other three categories. On this basis, Comrade Xiang Tao has even mentioned in writing that there are 21 pieces of “Selected Biography of Famous Physicians of All Dynasties” with “three extra leisure days”, and the appendix relates to the main text
