回顾Intel最近两年的发展史,我们可以发现截然不同的两条主线。其中一条主线就是我们大家熟悉的桌面平台,Intel自2006年7月发布了Core 2 Duo E6300处理器之后就罕有代表作品。就算把四核心的Core 2 Quad Q6600处理器也包含在内,Intel最近两年在桌面平台上的市场行为也只能算是“修修补补”。反观作为另一条主线的移动平台,Intel在最近两年则可以称得上大刀阔斧。不但在2006～2007年先后发布两代迅驰平台,而且还在2007年的短短几个月时间内迅速补齐第四代迅驰产品线,成就了令人刮目相看的市场运作。那么,就让我们共同回顾Intel这个“江湖大哥”的传奇故事,进入到Intel处理器发展史的最后一期。
Review Intel’s history of the past two years, we can find two distinctly different lines. One of the main lines is the desktop platform we are all familiar with. Intel has been a rare representative since the Core 2 Duo E6300 processor was released in July 2006. Even if the quad-core Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor is included, Intel’s market behavior on desktop platforms for the last two years can only be considered as a “fix”. In contrast to another main line of mobile platforms, Intel in the last two years can be described as drastic. Not only in 2006 and 2007 has released two generations of Centrino platform, but also in 2007 just a few months time quickly filled fourth-generation Centrino product line, the achievement of impressive market operation. So, let us review Intel this “big brother” legend, into the last issue of the history of Intel processors.
