芬兰向苏联提供了两台φ6.5×9.65米的世界最大球磨机。另一台与其尺寸相同的球磨机已运转5年,处理矿石2000万吨,磨矿总费用降低30％。在基尔克内斯,一台大球磨机代替6至7台带有分级机的较小球磨机,而所占空间仅为1台小球磨机的空间。其传动装置是与筒体为一体的9.65兆瓦环形电动机。补垫轴承代替轴颈轴承后,筒体有较强的定轴性轴承,应力降低,负荷均匀,从而延长了轴承寿命。
Finland provided the Soviet Union with two φ6.5 × 9.65 meters of the world’s largest ball mill. Another ball mill of the same size has been in operation for 5 years, handling 20 million tons of ore, reducing the total cost of grinding 30%. In Kirkenes, a large ball mill replaces 6 to 7 smaller ball mills with classifiers and occupies only 1 ball mill space. The transmission is integral with the cylinder 9.65 MW ring motor. After the pad bearings instead of journal bearings, the cylinder has a strong axial bearing, stress reduction, load evenly, thus extending the bearing life.
