1997年5月,随州市档案馆编写的《随州产品大全》一书印刷发行了。该书图文并茂,全书28万字,书中串插216幅精美的彩色产品照片,收集357种产品,着重从产品的品名、品牌规格、型号、质量、性能、用途、生产能力、销售评优情况进行了全面、系统、详尽的介绍。 《大全》一书受到市委、市政府和企业的好评,市委书记李文烈为该书作了序,市长蒋昌忠为该书题写了书名。随州市政府将该书作为礼品赠送给参加“97中国湖北烈山炎帝神农节”的中外来宾,市委、市政府领导称赞档案馆为宣传随州产品,提高产品知名度,促进产品销售和招商引资办了一件大好事。市长拨专款2万元作为该书的印刷费,再加上各企业的赞助,《大全》一书创经济效益12万多元,
