2004年8月至12月,在中国文化遗产研究院承担的中国-意大利合作洛阳山陕会馆部分古建筑保护项目中,古建筑彩画保护是其中的一项重要内容。在时间紧、任务重、管理繁杂、条件有限的情况下,经过试验、研究采取了较为优化的保护措施,是中西方关于文化遗产保护理念与方法的融合,是对中国木结构古建筑彩画保护的有益探索。为了更好地研究古建筑保护技术,探求其保护过程中的利弊得失,笔者作为该保护项目的参加者,多年来定期到现场进行回访,跟踪保护效果。本文便是结合对彩画保护现状的观察,来谈一点对中国木结构古建筑彩画保护的认识。
