From March 1996 to December 1997, 20 patients with bone metastases were treated with Novartis’s Arpadol (sodium pamidronate), which proved to be effective in relieving bone metastasis pain. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 General Information Among the 20 patients, 16 were lung cancer, 2 were breast cancer, 1 was multiple myeloma, and 1 was gastric leiomyosarcoma.
