国内外许多学者对外语学习动机进行了大量的研究,但从中发现对我国普通高校独立学院非英语专业学生英语学习动机的相关研究涉及不多。为此,以某普通高校独立学院非英语专业的学生为研究对象,对他们的英语学习动机进行了调查。结果表明:学生的外在动机相对较强,排在第二位的是学习情境动机,最弱的是内在动机。在此基础上,探讨激发、强化并维持学生英语学习动机的一些操作性较强的对策。
Many scholars at home and abroad have done a great deal of research on the motivation of foreign language learning, but found little research on the motivation of English learning for non-English majors at colleges and universities in our country. To this end, to a non-English major college independent college students as the research object, their English learning motivation were investigated. The result shows that the external motivation of students is relatively strong, the second is the learning motivation, the weakest is the intrinsic motivation. On this basis, we discuss some measures to stimulate, strengthen and maintain students’ motivation in English learning.
