Following Augustus Wilson, Susan Lori Parks became an African leader in the field of American theater in the new century. In 2002 she won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for “Strong / Weak” for the first time in history Black female playwright who won this award. In this award-winning work, she vividly portrayed the life trajectory of the black brothers and the fate of the times, profoundly revealing the living conditions and inner demands of American blacks in the new century. This article takes Parks drama “Strong / Weak” as the main research object, taking the issue of masculinity in gender studies as the research starting point, and based on RW Cornell’s masculinity theory, Constructed of the two protagonists of the mixed multivariate masculinity.
