应用服务供应商(Application Service Provider,简称ASP),又称软件租赁者,在2000年是仅次于网络电子交易集市(E-marketplaces)的明星。供应商透过网络传送软件服务的结果,将彻底改变软件业的生态环境,因此ASP市场的出现代表着软件业的一项重要变革。 ASP使软件授权的模式、销售策略以及应用软件和网络架构都不得不有所改变,最终对于消费者最有利的还是将套装软件打散,依据个别软件功能提供服务。
Application Service Provider (ASP), also known as software renter, was the star behind the E-marketplaces in 2000. The result of the software provider’s transmission of software services via the Internet will completely change the ecological environment of the software industry. Therefore, the emergence of the ASP market represents an important change in the software industry. ASP has made software licensing models, sales strategies, application software and network architectures have to be changed. Ultimately, it is the most favorable for consumers to disperse packaged software and provide services based on individual software features.
