On November 7, the international standards of major agricultural products and the database of advanced foreign standards passed the appraisal. This database can provide a panoramic view of the relevant foreign laws and regulations, standards and technical indicators and is called the “navigator” for the export of agricultural products in China. Food safety is called the fourth largest social issue in the world after population, resources and environment. It has aroused widespread concern of the international community. Since China’s accession to the WTO, some countries have raised the inspection standards for pesticide residues in agricultural products and implemented strict inspections. A large number of exporters of agricultural products in China have suffered serious problems because they are not familiar with the relevant foreign technical regulations and standards
