This article attempts to explore the mechanism of text conversion from different theoretical and literary works. In this paper, the focus of reader reaction theory is adjusted to the ethical appeal of literature, and the problems of form and emotion arising from literary conception and language are discussed. What, if anything, can the text lead to reading ethics? And what is important is that, as Henry James put it, texts provide readers with scripts that give them roles and complex ethical choices, especially Is the latter. The texts are always acting, constantly motivating readers to adopt different strategies that expose them to meaning based on their reaction to the ethical choices presented. When readers react to the emotional dimension of the text and re-recognize the importance of literature, transformative reading has meaning. This transformative poetics reflects the emotional power of writing, reveals the fact that we carry meaning into reading, and thus the reader, not the text, determines the meaning. Reading becomes an act of converting from the experience presented in the pages of a book (text) to the real experience created by emotion and exaggerated by language and values. Reading inspires different ethical practices.
