探矿工艺研究所1978年在成都成立。五年来，在党的三中全会及十二大正确路线指引下，在上级的直接领导及广大同行的有力支持下，在为地质找矿和社会服务方面取得了一定成绩。但科技水平特别是管理水平还比较低。值此1984年新春之际，我们决心加强管理，为开创探矿科研新局面做出应有的贡献。首先，以勇于改革进取的精神，在指导思想上进行较大的转变，使探矿工艺所由花钱完全靠国家的单纯科研型单位，在科研和生活基地建成之后，逐步转变为少花或不花国家投资进而盈利的科研经营型单
Prospecting Technology Institute was established in Chengdu in 1978.
