ChemoCentryx recently announced its phase II clinical trial of CCX354, a chemokine receptor (CCR1) inhibitor developed at the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR). CCX354 is an orally available small molecule that targets and antagonizes CCR1, which is closely linked to the development and progression of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
