班主任是全班学生的教育者和组织者,是学校进行教育教学工作的得力助手。班主任老师的形象对广大学生起着潜移默化的影响和教育作用,他们的一言一行、一举一动都直接影响和感染着学生。要培养学生良好的学习、生活、作息习惯,帮助他们树立远大的理想、坚定的信念、朴实的作风、顽强的意志、刻苦学习、团结协作的精神,以及自我约束、自我管理、独立生活的能力,班主任老师应具有与时俱进的使命感和高度的责任感,应不断加强自身修养。
