我与黄君实先生相识仅二年。一九九六年初春,我应香港中文大学之邀,赴港举办书法篆刻展。抵港次日,在西冷印社老友香港篆刻家陈礼源先生陪同下,参加了一个书法沙龙聚会,会上结识了禤绍灿等数位香港著名书家,禤绍灿赠我两种新版书法挂历,并将上面的作品一一向我介绍,黄君实先生的作品亦在其间,那萧散自然的书风给我留下很深的印象。数日后,甲予书学会请我去谈谈当代中国书法的发展,席间我结识了黄君实先生,他是甲子会的名誉顾问。闲谈之中,对书法颇多共识,先生虽长我十余岁,却十分谦和。香港归后,书信往还,使我对先生有了更多的了解。
I met Mr. Huang Junshi only two years. In early spring of 1996, at the invitation of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I held a calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition in Hong Kong.
