Deng Xiaoping’s “Emancipating the Mind, Seeking Truth from Facts, Looking Forward Together in a Coherent Way” and talking to the South are two manifestations of ideological emancipation in the reform and opening up in the 20th century and are the most concentrated embodiment of Deng Xiaoping Theory’s essence and charm. Exploring the profound connotation of the declaration has a significant realistic enlightenment on promoting scientific development and accelerating the transformation of the mode of economic development.
