1992年12月1日—5日,第二次全国报纸总编辑新闻摄影研讨会在广东韶关举行。得党的十四大闭幕不久之天时,会议不仅全面总结了自1990年8月银川第一次全国报纸总编辑新闻摄影研讨会以来,报纸在运用照片、实现图文并重方面的成绩和问题,还着重探讨了在社会主义市场经济形势下,报纸如何进一步改进和加强新闻摄影报道。来自中央、省市自治区及行业报纸共77家单位的正副总编辑、总编室主任、摄影部主任及摄影记者160余人出席了会议。他们带来了各自报纸新闻摄影改革的新经验和在实践中遇到的新课题。大家各抒己见、畅所欲言。5天的会议紧凑、热烈、务实。
