带电粒子以垂直于匀强磁场方向的初速度进入无限大的磁场区域,则运动轨迹是圆.若磁场仅仅规定在某一区域内(称作有界磁场),那么带电粒子运动的轨迹往往是圆的一部分(圆弧).解答这种问题的关键是要确定轨道圆的圆心,运用的物理知识是牛顿第二定律、洛伦兹力公式,数学知识是圆中的弦、角关系.要求有一定的用几何图形分析和解决物理问题的能力.
