宁夏园艺学会和宁夏农林科学院园艺所于1982年6月10～12日在渠口农场召开全区杀虫剂辛硫磷和除草剂草甘膦推广现场会。现场会采用当面讲授和实地果园操作等方式,使与会同志熟悉这二种农药的性能和使用方法,以在大面积果园中应用推广。辛硫磷毒性低,具有触杀、胃毒作用,是广谱性杀虫剂,对鳞翅目食叶害虫有特效。对多种地下害虫有优异的毒杀力。用于地面喷雾和土壤处理均可,是有机磷农药中很突出的一个品种。用50%辛硫磷乳剂施于土壤中防治桃小食心虫越冬出土幼虫,每亩施用1～1.5斤效果良好。
