自改革开放以来,为了满足社会的需求和适应对外开放的形势,中国纺大外语培训中心受部委的委托,先后举办了16期英语培训班。学员来自全国各地的大专院校和科研单位,他们中的大部分人是业务骨干,不少人还是教授级的高级科研人员。经过一年的英语强化训练,学员中的绝大多数都顺利地通过了国家外语水平测试(E.P.T.)或者美国的托福考试(TOEFL),取得了出国留学或进修的资格。下面,笔者就成年人学习外语的心理特点以及如何运用心理学的原理为外语教学服务等问题,谈谈自己的肤浅认识和体会。
Since the reform and opening up, in order to meet the needs of society and to adapt to the situation of opening to the outside world, Chinatrust University Foreign Language Training Center has commissioned 16 ministerial-level English training classes entrusted by ministries and commissions. The trainees come from tertiary institutions and research institutes all over the country. Most of them are the backbone of the business and many are still senior-level scientific researchers at the professor level. After a year of intensive English training, the vast majority of the students passed the National Proficiency Test (E.P.T.) or the American TOEFL successfully and obtained the qualifications to study abroad or further their studies. The following, the author of the psychological characteristics of adults learning foreign languages and how to use the principles of psychology for foreign language teaching services and other issues, to talk about their own superficial understanding and experience.
