千宝菜是从日本引进的叶菜类新品种。利用世界上最先进的生物工程技术“胚培养”育成的甘兰与小白菜的杂交种。千宝菜属十字花科作物。生长期短,播种后30—35天就可采摘上市,一年种5—7茬,可在春、夏、秋三季栽培。种植千宝菜不仅增加蔬菜新品种,也缓解淡季蔬菜不足的问题。千宝荣具有抗热、耐湿、抗寒、抗旱、适应性强等特点。南北方皆可种植。在吉林省4月下旬至9月上旬播种,在南方省份除短暂冬季外,皆可种植千宝菜。尤其在7—8月高温高湿季节,种植小白菜病害危害严重,生长慢、产量低。而种植千宝菜确生长良好,效益比种小白菜高1—1.5倍。因
