李红,安徽广德县人,1970年生。毕业于安徽省艺术学校,安徽省美术家协会会员。二十几年来,她致力于中国传统工笔绘画形式的研究,追求绘画手段的装饰意味,造型手法上强调写意性的概括、提炼,并主张以神韵、神态的需求为前导来把握物象的本质形态。同时,以线条勾勒流畅、虚实疏密,再加之色彩分染、罩染、烘染等手法的运用处理,细致人微地表现形体的质量感、动态感和空间感。江南山乡的特有的韵味,成就了她在绚罗仕女题材创作的艺术极致。她的作品,多次参加全国性展览并获奖。
