In 2015, “Internet +” was written into Premier Li Keqiang’s government work report, which means that “Internet +” has been formally incorporated into the top-level design and has become an important strategy for the country’s economic and social development. In this era, many traditional industries have undergone tremendous changes. As a technology-intensive traditional industry, the construction industry naturally follows the trend and seeks for new breakthroughs and developments. The core concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the creation and delivery of building industry information, which is the building industry’s foundation for incorporating “Internet +” into the building industry, and the engine that led the construction industry’s smile transition.
