国防高级研究计划局拟对现用的飞机结构材料进行抗脉冲激光能力的检查,并要研制不易被苏联九十年代的脉冲高能激光武器破坏的合成材料和防护隔绝材料。
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency intends to check the anti-pulsed laser capabilities of existing aircraft structural materials and to develop synthetic and protective insulation materials that are not easily damaged by pulsed high-energy laser weapons of the Soviet Union in the 1990s.
