张鼎铭,字宴宾,国民党中将,1900年8月出生在芷江县罗旧镇庄上村。一生历经两次东征;参加过北伐战争、中原大战、淞沪会战、南京保卫战;三任师管区司令,招训新兵,成绩突出。李大钊保荐入黄埔平商团东征显锋芒张鼎铭自幼熟读《三字经》、《论语》等,1913年考入芷江县城的“芷黔麻晃联合县立中学”。1917年以优异成绩考入湖南省立第三甲种农业学校,接触到《新青年》、《湘江评论》等进步刊物,接受救国思想。1921年毕业后考入北京
