倍受关注的“北京当代十大建筑”评选于9月24日晚举行了颁奖晚会。经过专家和971万全国群众参与投票,首都机场三号航站楼、国家体育场(鸟巢)、国家大剧院、北京南站、国家游泳中心(水立方)、首都博物馆新馆、北京电视中心、国家图书馆(二期)、北京新保利大厦、国家体育馆等工程被评为“北京当代十大建筑”。其中前三名及北京电视中心、国家体育馆等五项工程均由北京城建集团
