130 years ago, Arthur Conan Doyle, a young Scottish doctor, wrote several stories about the detectives’ detectives, mainly to have fun for themselves. [2] His character, Sherlock Holmes, is largely based on his mentor, the forensic Joseph Bell. Holmes made his debut in the 1887 Beaton Christmas, appearing in an anecdote called The Dark Red Juggernaut. Since then, the maverick detective has been seen frequently in movies and television. All kinds of actors from all over the world with different personalities have starred in this role, but most of them come from Britain and the United States.
