六六六能否用于烟叶上,过去有种种不同的说法。各级农业领导上一般号召,六六六不能用于烟叶上,但,山东、河南等省烟农自1953年以来,即自发地使用六六六防治烟蚜,因为效果良好,所以实际上已大量使用。河南省许昌专区农业技术指导站为彻底弄清六六六防治烟蚜的效果及对品质的影响,今年会进行典型调查,现已获得结论,认为:一、六六六可以防治烟蚜,但要掌握好使用技术;二、六六六对烟叶品质没有影响但受药害的叶片,则依药害程度的不同,对品质影响亦各异。在国外文献上,经济昆虫学杂志1949年会发表过四篇讨论用六六六防治烟草虫害的文章,所获的结论为:一篇说用六六六除治烟茎螟虫最有前途(1949年2月号63页);一篇说用六六六除治烟蚜效果良好,无药害,对烤烟没有影响,但对烟叶品质的影响如何,还未弄清楚(1949年2月号59页);一篇说用可湿性六六六防治烟蚜效果尚佳,但未提到其它问题(1949年6月号561页);一篇说用5%可湿性六六六防治烟草甲虫,释稀800倍还有药害。我们认为许昌专区农业技术指导站抓住一个带有普遍性的、科学研究上悬而未决的问题,进行深入调查,总结群众经验教训,进行细致分析的做法是正确的。现在我们把该站对这一问题的总结,略加删节发表于下,希望引起大家的重视。
