广东省东莞市黄江中学是广东省一级学校;学校按照“以发展为主题,以质量创品牌, 以特色铸优势,以创新争一流”为办学理念,形成了“以人为本,继承创新,科学高效”的办学特色。近年来,学校不断推进体育教育教学改革,实施素质教育,深入开展群众体育活动,1997年和2005年先后两次被评为全国群众体育先进集体和单位,校长叶满海出席了十运会期间在南京举行的全国群众体育先进表彰大会,受到胡锦涛总书等党和国家领导人的亲切接见,并合影留念。立足于校本,创办特色体育项目,取得了良好的效果:199 7
