Milton Friedman was 85 years old in July 1997. The Nobel laureate in economics is now a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University and has just completed his autobiography, “The Two Lucky Children.” This autobiography was co-authored with his 59-year-old wife, Rose, and will be published by the University of Chicago Press next spring. He is now excited about conquering the Internet. Forbes magazine interviewed Friedman at the age of 80 (August 17, 1992) and previously interviewed him at the age of 76 (December 12, 1988). This year’s interview takes place at his apartment in San Francisco.
