6月28日,国家统计局局长张塞受国务院委托,在八届全国人大常委会第十四次会议上作了题为《关于统计工作情况的报告》(内容见本刊第9期)。人大常委会在分组审议张塞局长所作的统计工作报告时,委员们认为,张塞的统计工作报告很好,对报告表示赞成和同意。委员们针对如何综合治理虚报浮夸问题发表了意见,曾宪林委员还就解决在统计数据上的弄虚作假问题在大会讨论时作了发言。现将他们的发言要点摘登如下,供读者学习参考。
On June 28, Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, Zhang Sai, was entrusted by the State Council and gave a speech titled “Report on Statistical Work” at the 14th Meeting of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee (for details, see Issue 9). When the NPC Standing Committee reviewed the statistical work report made by the director Zhang Zai in groups, the members considered that the report of Zhang Sai on the statistics work well and approved and agreed with the report. The members expressed their opinions on how to comprehensively deal with the problem of overstaffing and exaggeration.
