From October 7 to October 9, 1991, the China Association of Chief Accountants held a second council and a member congress in Beijing. More than 60 member representatives and directors from all over the country attended the conference. At the meeting, Zhu Dehui, president of the China Association of Chief Accountants, made a report entitled “Seriously Implementing the Regulations of the Chief Accountant, giving full play to the role of chief accountant and fighting for the promotion of enhancing the economic efficiency of enterprises” on behalf of the Research Society. The report summarizes the four main tasks that the research conference has done in the past year or so. First, conscientiously study, promote and implement the “Chief Accountant Ordinance” (hereinafter referred to as the “Ordinance”). He said the publication of the “Regulations” is our chief accountant
