花生果针入土后黄壳鲜重迅速增加,至入土后20天(DAP)达到最大值,随后迅速下降。荚壳鲜重则在32DAP达到最大值。在荚壳鲜重即将下降之前,种子干重和鲜重开始迅速增加,整个发育阶段可分为5个时期:Ⅰ种子生长缓慢期(0~16DAP);Ⅱ第一迅速生长期(17~40DAP)Ⅲ停滞期(41~44DAP),Ⅳ第二迅速增加期(45~62DAP),Ⅴ第二生长缓慢期(63~88DAP)。种子发芽力在第二期内的20~40DAP迅速形成并达到最高值,(?)幼苗成活率在第Ⅳ期达到最大值,幼苗鲜重则以88DAP种子的为最高。种子发育过程中贮藏蛋白质合成和积累与种子干鲜变化相似。SDS-PAGE分析表明,种子发育初期(16DAP)即在种子未具发芽力前就开始了花生球蛋白和伴花生球蛋白合成,双向凝胶电泳结果表明,花生球蛋白各个亚基在20DAP时均已存在,伴花生球蛋白的主要亚基在整个发育过程中其等电点有所变化,含量也逐渐增加,其他多肽组成的变化在种子发芽力形成阶段(20~40DAP)最为显著。
