国际地震工程协会(IAEE)成立于1963年2月1日,当时的中央办事处设在日本建设省建筑研究所内的国际地震学与地震工程研究所(IISEE),第一任会长是武滕清(Kigoshi Muto)教授,副会长是林内(J.E.Rinne)先生,南(J.K·Minami)担任秘书长。1982年12月、中央办事处迁往东京现址。国际地震工程协会的宗旨是通过知识、概念、研究成果及实践经验的交流,促进地震工程领域内科学家与工程师之间
The International Association of Earthquake Engineering (IAEE) was established on February 1, 1963 when the Central Office was located at the International Institute of Seismology and Seismology (IISEE) in the Institute of Architectural Studies of Japan’s Construction Province. The first president was Wu Teng Prof. Kigoshi Muto, Vice President is Mr. JERinne, JK Minami is Secretary General. In December 1982, the central office was relocated to Tokyo. The mission of the International Association of Earthquake Engineering is to promote the exchange between scientists and engineers in the field of seismic engineering through the exchange of knowledge, concepts, research results and practical experience
