林萍同志是中国太平洋人寿保险股份有限公司宁波镇海支公司营销员,担任业务室主任。2009年5月5日,林萍同志不顾个人安危,不顾家人和朋友的劝阻,毅然把自己近一半的肝脏无偿捐献给了一个毫无血缘关系的8岁小女孩,挽救了小女孩垂危的生命。林萍同志的善行义举体现了中华民族的传统美德,展现了新时代保险人爱心奉献、诚实守信的精神风貌。2009年,林萍同志荣获全国道德模范提名奖;2010年,林萍同志先后被评为“浙江省道德楷模”和“全国劳动模范”。
Comrade Lin Ping is a salesman of Ningbo Zhenhai Branch of China Pacific Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and serves as director of the business office. On May 5, 2009, Comrade Lin Ping defaulted on personal safety and persecuted her family and friends and decided to donate nearly half of her liver to an unrelenting 8-year-old girl who saved her dying life . Comrade Lin Ping’s good deeds embody the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation and demonstrate the spiritual outlook of the insurers in the new era with their dedication to love, honesty and trustworthiness. In 2009, Comrade Lin Ping won the National Moral Model Nomination Award; in 2010, Comrade Lin Ping has been rated as “Model Moral Model of Zhejiang Province” and “Model Worker of the National Labor”.
