近几年,我国各地公路建设进行得热火朝天,然而相比之下,我国公路运输的发展从整体上却落后于公路建设。要从根本上解决我国公路运输整体上落后于公路建设的现象,只有以技术进步推进公路运输向集约化和规模化发展。 目前我国公路运输的主要问题在于其市场秩序较为混乱、经营行为不规范、行业及企业管理水平不高,因而妨碍了技术进步,导致企业缺乏市场竞争力和发展后劲,集约化和规模化发展也就失去了内在的支持基础。
