环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷生成的聚合物、共聚物,以及与其它单体生成的共聚物具有广泛的用途。例如:低分子量聚合物(聚醚)可用作表面活性剂;与异氰酸酯生成的共聚物(聚氨酯)可用来制造泡沫塑料或弹性体;与苯乙烯共聚,由于主链中引入了醚键,增加了柔顺性,改进了聚苯乙烯的性能等等。环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷共聚物的组成测定,文献已有报导。本文进一步应用核磁共振(NMR)测定各种不同结构的环氧聚合物及共聚物的组成和分子量等。
