古代文人很重视养鹤,认为它是仙鸟,尤以道家为甚。《瘗鹤铭》的内容是讲一只被收养的仙鹤死了,几位信仰道教的朋友聚在一起,将它隆重安葬并刻铭悼念的故事。铭文原来应有一百八十余字,现在打捞出的字只有九十三个。所缺之字,人们根据记载或根据文义作了补充。所补之字或有所本,有些字则属于推测。再加石块错乱,故异文甚多。本文以公认比较准确的张弨和汪士鋐辑本为主,结合其他版本进行注释。由于缺字较多,补字又难于完全相信,错误之处难免,故采用意译,只供参考。
Ancient literati attaches great importance to crane, that it is fairy birds, especially Taoist even. “Crane Heming” is about the death of a adopted crane. Several faithful Taoist friends gathered together to impress and inscribe the story of mourning. The original inscription should have more than one hundred and eighty words, now the word salvaged only ninety-three. The missing words, according to the record or based on the text has been supplemented. Complement the word or some, some words are speculation. Add stones disorder, so many different languages. This article is generally accepted as more accurate Zhang 弨 and Wang Shizhen edition based, combined with other versions for annotation. Due to lack of more words, make it difficult to fully believe the word, the error is inevitable, so the use of free translation, for reference purposes only.
