机械通气治疗已在临床广泛应用,且在危重病人的救治中有重要地位。其目的在于达到适当的气体交换,而又不产生血液动力学和肺的损害,但在气道严重阻塞或肺实质广泛损害时,使用不当,可引起肺损伤和循环障碍。为了克服该类并发症,提高治疗率,近年来提出了血CO_2适度增高性通气治疗(Permissive Hypercapnic Ventilation PHV),即采用低容限压控制性通气,在保证氧合的同时,允许血CO_2在一定范围内升高一段时间,帮助患者渡过急性呼吸衰竭阶段。
