西瓜皮椒草(Peperomia ar-gyreia),俗称西瓜皮或西瓜皮豆瓣绿,胡椒科豆瓣绿属多年生常绿草本植物。株高15cm～30cm,茎较短;基部抽叶,轮生或互生,呈放射状,卵圆形,先端尖,长约12cm,宽10cm,肉质,叶面暗绿色,有9～11条银白色斑纹,似西瓜皮,光滑亮丽,叶背淡绿色,叶柄7cm～24cm长,红褐色;穗状花序,10cm长;浆果。分布于美洲热带地区。西瓜皮椒草为优良的室内盆栽观叶植物珍品,在欧美地区十分流行,常用于布置窗台、书案、茶几、花架、橱柜等处,观之清新素雅,使人赏心悦目。西瓜皮椒草的繁殖通常采用分株法和扦插法进行。(1)分株法春季(温度合适可随时进行)时,在母株上切取带顶尖并有根的枝条,直接用培养土盆栽,浇透水放荫湿处便可。(2)扦插法西瓜皮椒草在温室中可全年进行,以春、夏、秋为最佳时间。A.枝插:剪取茎叶或茎顶,每
